Privacy Policy
The short version: Faith Scrn, the website and the Android app, does not collect, store or sell your personal information. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no ad or analytics trackers.
Who we are
This website and the Faith Scrn Android app are operated by , . You can reach us at .
What we don’t collect
- We don’t ask you to create an account or give us your name or email.
- We don’t use cookies, and we don’t store anything in your browser’s local storage.
- We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- We don’t load third-party scripts, fonts or embeds on our pages.
Technical data from hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) receives basic technical information when your device requests a page or image, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare also uses it to keep the site fast and to block abusive traffic. This is processed by the host to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t use it to identify you, and we don’t combine it with anything else. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how they handle it.
The Android app
This section covers the Faith Scrn app for Android (package app.faithscrn). The rules above apply to it too: no account, no ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- What stays on your phone: your favorites, your settings (such as the daily wallpaper choice and colors) and cached wallpapers. We can’t see them and they are not sent anywhere.
- What the app asks our servers for: the list of wallpapers and the wallpaper images, from cdn.faithscrn.app (hosted by Cloudflare). To do this the app asks for a short-lived random access code that is not tied to you or your phone. Cloudflare processes standard technical data such as your IP address to deliver the files, as described above. We don’t use it to identify you.
- Permissions: Internet, to download wallpapers; Set wallpaper, to change your wallpaper when you ask (or every morning if you turn on the daily wallpaper); Notifications (optional, Android 13 and newer), to tell you when new wallpapers arrive. Saving a wallpaper to your gallery uses Android’s own media storage and needs no storage permission.
- Notifications: these use Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. Google gives your phone an anonymous ID so it can receive them, and Google processes it to deliver the messages. We never see or store that ID, and each alert goes to all subscribers at once, never to you individually. You can turn them off at any time in Android’s notification settings.
- Daily wallpaper: off unless you turn it on. If you do, the app downloads the wallpaper of the day once each morning and sets it on your Home screen, Lock screen or both, as you chose. You can turn it off any time in About.
- Deleting your data: uninstall the app. Nothing about you is stored on our servers, so there is nothing else to delete.
Downloading wallpapers
When you tap Save to my phone, the image file is sent to your device. Nothing else is saved on your device, and we don’t keep a record of which wallpapers you download.
Sharing
The Send this to a friend button opens your device’s own share menu or copies the site link. We never see who you share it with.
Children
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we don’t knowingly collect any from children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the site or the app works in a way that affects your privacy, we’ll update this page and the date above before the change goes live.
